PS (PostScript)
PostScript is a page description language, which exists under this name since 1984 and was developed by the company Adobe. It become over the years a de facto standard in the printing industry and is supported by most modern printers. Graphics and print pages in PostScript format can be printed in any size and resolution without any losses. Therefore all graphical elements and fonts are scalable vector graphics. Raster graphics can also be embedded, they are rescaled depending on the resolution of the output device.
Using PS in the LayoutEditor
The use of PostScript files by the LayoutEditor is limited to an export. Only visible layer in the current cell will be exported. Exported designs will be arranged to the lower left corner of the paper with one cm border. The output is in real size except you set up a scale factor via the setup dialog.
