Ruler Mode

• Activation: SetRulerMode

Description

Use this function to measure distances. Each click defines the origin of the ruler. The distance to the mouse is display next to it. The distance on the x-axis and y-axis is display in the status bar. All values are displayed in user units.

Perpendicular measurement only, if the shift key is pressed.

Make the ruler permanent to the active layer.
